Chelsea became inspired to start CVAdvocacy after working in Special Education and realizing a need for accountability and advocacy services. As a parent of a special needs child herself, and a former Special Education Administrator- Chelsea knows first-hand the feeling of overwhelming information and frustration when it comes to all thing’s Special Education. Whether you’re a parent wanting to get advocacy support and services, a school district wanting trainings and supports, or a law office looking for an advocate- you’ve come to the right place.

Chelsea comes with a variety of experience on all sides of special education. Starting off her career as a paraprofessional providing inclusion instruction and supports, and ending her career as a special education administrator- Chelsea has been in the classroom as a paraprofessional, teacher, department chair, trainer, and administrator. After leaving education, Chelsea maintained working for different parents and lawyers as an advocate- participating in ARD meetings, assisting with the findings for due process hearings, and providing trainings and supports to parents, law offices, other advocates, and school districts.
