CVAdvocacy will look through your students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and make recommendations for classroom accomodations/modifications, least restrictive enviorment, educational goals and programming, as well as updated testing needs (FII, FIE, Related Services, etc.) In the yearly membership option, UNLIMITED IEP consultations and reviews are included.

CVAdvocacy will attend educational meetings alongside the parents/guardians to help advocate educational needs for the student. Having an advocate attend school meetings can help provide the opportunity for parents/guardians to listen more thoroughly as our advocate will take notes and ask questions for clarification and understanding. Prior to signatures being obtained, our advocate will ensure the parent/guardians questions are all answered, and paperwork is reviewed to ensure it is best suited for the students’ educational goals.

Whether it is to have on hand and keep record of or to help you comb through everything and better understand your students IEP, we can help you obtain their student records from the district. This is something included in CVAdvocacy’s yearly membership fee!
